I have a couple of RX battery packs and cannot remeber if they are nicad's or nimh's. No label or indication on the cells.

Is there any way to tell the difference ?

Thanks

Weight is one.

If you have a discharger see which one gives the higher capacity from a full charge.
If you have AA size batteries you can safely charge them from the tx/rx charger.

Do you take the labels off your soup cans as well?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

sorry, there's no reliable way to tell the difference between a NiCd and a NiMH without some lab equipment. you would have to observe the packs' charge and discharge curves. weight and capacity cannot reliably tell the difference between cells.
