50 MHz is an amateur radio allocation, and as per international law and the WRC, should be available for use is most, if not all, countries.

I'm not aware of any countries outside of the USA that use 50MHz for R/C.

Canada uses the same 6 meter ham bands for RC that the USA uses. We are currently allowed to us both the old 53 MHz channels B1 to B8 and 50 Mhz channels 00 to 08. you can view our frequencies at http://www.maac.ca/freq_chart.php.

In the USA you need an FCC amateur radio license to use 50MHz.
