| The 450 is dirt cheap at this point. They're stable if you're just learning or free flying. Steer clear of the 400. The 450 has better parts and you need to buy a nice beefy motor and ESC because they're heavy. If you want to do serious 3D, buy an SE Trex V1 with the CF frame. They're not the latest greatest but they're proven and sweet to fly. The V2's still have a few kinks in them and they're expensive. You can pick up a V1 used pretty cheap. The only drawback is the wind tosses you around a bit and it's awkward if you're not experienced. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone strickly Trex. Parts are cheaper and plentiful. |
