Pre-registration is moving along. Last year we had an incredible 300+ pilots pre-register. Hirobo is going to give away a kit for the 100th pre-registrant and #250 will also be seeing something special. EMPIRE HOBBIES and IRCHA will host a Saturday night dinner. This year we have stepped it up a notch and have a different catering company. The boy scouts will still have food there for the event. The return of Bird’s Smokehouse on the West end will still be there, and addition of Boston Market this year on the EAST End of the flightline!
I have looked on the ICHA web site and see nothing on how to pre-register.

On the right side there is a "Preregistration" banner right above the search bar.
New competition !This is one we have been working on for sometime now and proud to make it a reality.
IRCHA and the XFC and event sponsors are proud to announce the IRCHA Amateurs National competition (I.A.N.). A competition for non-sponsored pilots that want to be somebody ;-) ! This event will be held on Friday with the final round on Saturday at the 2008 IRCHA Jamboree. The winner will receive a spot in the 2009 XFC as well as a sponsorship with one of our event sponsors. Please see the attached registration and rules forms for further information. We look forward to meeting you at the 2008 IRCHA Jamboree!
You can complete and submit the registration electronically .
To view these documents Adobe Reader 7 or later is required.
Please visit IRCHA .org for the link to download entry forms.
This event is a good opportunity for those who wants to try competetion and get a chance to be noticed and be part of a much bigger event like the XFC (Xtreme Flight Championship). All you have to do is be yourself and give it a shot. Certainly nothing to loose but very much to gain if everything goes your way. Here's the link to for you guys to check it out;

Sounds like this could be a good contest, similar to the one we already have at the SRC event in Mt. Pleasant. I look forward to checking the one out at IRCHA this year.

When you have pre-registered on line do you receive something from IRCHA it self? I got the the Kagi confirmation but haven't heard from IRCHA yet.

I am kinda scared now that I will get there and not have any more room for camping, is there another campground near by if it is full at ircha? and are all the sites at ircha within walking distance of the flightline?

When you pre-register for the jamboree you will only get the confirmation from kagi. We will have your pre-registration information at the jamboree. We intend on having the rapid check in as we did last year. Pre registered pilots found the line very short last year. AMA has allowed us to use the electronic information when you register, thus we do not need to have each pilot sign. This speeds up registration considerably.
Just to remind some of the pilots out there that wanted to try competition without the pressure of competing against the big names to consider trying the first IRCHA Amateur National Competition.
