e-JR Voyager E > Easiest way to reduce play in VE head ?

I have a VE that I fly regularly, and am building a second out of spare parts. They are mostly stock except for brushless motors and ball bearing tail slider. I don't expect these to be high performance helis but it would be great if they had a little less slop in the head and specifically in the main blade grips.

From what I have read, the PMP thrust bearing upgrade worked pretty well. I can't find this kit in stock anywhere. Someone posted that they got much improved results by using CA to lock the bearings into the grips. I'm not sure that I am ready to go that route. Maybe if I knew that I would never crash again. Full CNC aluminum grips with thrust bearings cost too much.

Any suggestions what to do or where to get some suitable thrust bearings ? Perhaps someone has some useful parts in their bin of spares ?
