Aerobatic FAI F3C Contest > FAI symetrical Blades with zero lead lag

I am trying to source FAI/F3C blades which have zero lead/lag for my Joker2 electric heli. I am currently flying a set of NHP 710 Razors which are more of a 3d blade. I am not flying 3d and have recently been trying the F3C hovering schedules. I am finding I have alot of unwanted changes in altitude without any collective input from the TX.

I am using a set of K&S FAI paddles and flybar weights and find cyclic is very stable.

I would like to try the new rotortech blades but fear the length at 720 might be too long for the heli. I am also unsure if they are neutral (no lead/lag). I would like a fully symetrical blade with zero lead lag and between 690mm and 710mm with a weight about 200g or heavier. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Regards

Fergus

Slim pickings, huh ? <g>

You can look at the KSJ 1749's, any one of several DY series blades available out of Japan, TG tapered 690's, and FunTec FAI blades (also out of Japan). Rotortech had a 700 mm blade, but it is sadly out of production. I'm not sure anyone can guarantee you of EXACTLY what a blade is doing in flight WRT lead/lag, but any good FAI blade out there is going to be as LE/nose heavy as possible. Neutral lead/lag is not necessarily the most stable arrangement.

Thanks Ben,

Unfortunately the Joker rotor head requires a neutral blade. I am not sure of the technical reasons for this it may be alright in the hover but in FFF as I understand it things can go wrong if the blade leads or lags.

EDIT: I appreciate a certain amount of lead or lag will be present in flight but a blade which is neutral when suspended vertically from the bolt hole is what I need I think.
