what is your flying style?

sports-acrobatic or extreme 3d?

dont confuse "upgrades" which improves flight with "options" which only make it look better also know here as "eye candy"

sometimes a better option is to buy extra batteries to fly more.

mainly a bit of 3d but not very hard stuf.i might even chuck a airwolf fuz on it..

im more interested in having less breakable parts as i dont have a lot of confidence in their durability. ive already had the tail drive snap twice in mid flight and each time i had to let it spin in as the auto function doesnt work the same on the heli like my bigger glo helis..

plus if the flight characteristics improve a tad with these alu parts then i would get them ..

as you have other helis go with your gut instinct.

a scale heli should be flown as such...but thats just me.

do post photos if you go the scale route.

The main reason for adding these metal upgrades to your head is to reduce slop in the control system thus improving flying characteristics.

I have a combination of metal and plastic in my head and it flys very smooth.

I'm not sure the head you pictured will fit a zoom / shogun due to the fact that it does not have the pitch controlled though the washout. this head and swash are designed for a CCPM system where the swash moves up and down for pitch control.

Unless you have heavily modified your Zoom i don't think you can use this.

the tail box on the other hand is probably worth it.

Just check on the boom diameter though as the Zoom V1 and V2 have different diameter booms the V2 being Bigger than V1

V1 is 9mm i think.

hope this helps
