Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > 14MZ, CSM flybarless setup on Synergy

I've just started converting one of my Synergy to flybarless using the CSM Cyclock and 2 720's. Does anyone have any experience in setting this up using a Futaba 14MZ? Particularly settting the auxilliary gain channel. It's a confusing minefield of information out there so any help on setting it up would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Darren.

Anybody?
Is it also normal when you put a cyclic input in for the swash to slowly center itself when you release the stick. The speed of this can be adjusted by increasing/reducing the end point on my aux/gyro gain channel?
Just trying to check out all the things that look 'unnatural' to me before I even attempt to get in the air with it...

I think you can adjust that with the decay value but I would leave it at default (recommended by CSM) settings first. I have a vstabi unit and it does that.

Just make sure that the swashplate tend to correct the heli movements. If you roll the heli to the right the swashplate must roll the heli to thre left.

The same apply for elevator. kind of like the tail where it oppose itself to the movement. If the wrong way you wont be able to oversteer that behavior, just like the tail gyro set the wrong way.

Thanks Michel,

Got my head into it some more this morning and feel I have got it sorted and set up correctly now.
+/- 10 deg pitch, +/- 11 deg cyclic, everything moving in the right direction and set up using notes from Russ Deakin found on here and on Realraptors site along with the CSM setup.
Just need it to stop raining now so I can try it out for the first time. I'm sure i'll be taking it very gingerly at first until happy!

Cheers,
Darren.
