Wish I had better news for you but I don't. CC was suppose to send an updated controller board but I have not recieved it yet. Have ordered a Powergazz and hope it will be in by Tue. This type of stuff really frustrates. Anything mechanical I can fix or make a new part to make it work but electronics I am at someone elses mercy.

Do a search and se how many that has problem with the CC on large helis (10s or more). There has been a lot of blown up controllers and problems with gov ans start up.

It has been out for 2 years, and it should be working now, but it does not.

Do a search for Kontronic Jazz and PowerJazz and see how many that has problem with them...

POWER JAZZ

We have a Power JAzz sitting here NIB....We will connect today however it is pouring our side so I do not see testing until it stops raining...

I once had a book lamp fall into a gold fish tank in my room when I was a kid they were great "golden fried". I think I invented the famous fish crackers that is so popular in 10 different tastes.
I learned my lessons about electricity & water then so I will be patient...

Heat up the soldering iron!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT ENOUGH TIME IN A DAY

Hi Raul,

We have flown the MQ with 14 cell Li-po. 2 x 5s-2p & 4s-2p x 1 all in series. The torque of this 5330 motor is amazing. I also just received a 5345 out runner....this is one big motor...yet too be tested.

Kontronics was kind enough to supply us with a PC card to use on there power JAZZ so we will set-up the ESC ASAP & test further using 5 packs in series & parallel to achieve long EP flight of 22-25 minutes or more.

I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED....QWW

Its Alive!!!

KONTRONICS send us the PC card so we were able to program the Power Jazz AFTER LESS THAN STELLAR results with the CC 110 HV...

FINALLY SHE FLIES

It was real cold on the fingers out side but the Power jazz functions flawlessly for 14:30 with more juice than my fingers could handle at 32F with no wind.

We use 14s-2p in series combining 3 packs for power. There is no question we can run 20 cells in series & parallel to achieve 20-24 minutes of power flight for AP work.

Starting RPM was 1475 with plenty of kick, when the fingers said no more the head speed was 1375 using big blades that is perfect head speed.

The AMP draw was 26-28AMPS so using normal 10C batteries will turn these 800MM blades on the 5330 motor 290KV I also have a 5345 if I want more power with shorter flight time but not needed as I see it.

In all fairness too Castle today we received new HV 110 ESC from them that hopefully will function as well as the Kontronics. So as soon as we can charge up the batteries & swipe out the ESC's we will test the Castle 110. I am hoping they fixed there issues I prefer the products too say "MADE IN THE USA" HOWEVER THIS IS A GLOBAL ECONOMY.

WE have been making serious headway with the MIGHTY QUICK big electrics NOW. We have product to ship at once so if you into AP or just big machines please PM us for any inquiries.

you can thanks me for the suggestion of using a power jazz now.. Dump the crappy CC esc's, they have no business handing anything above a 6s setup

If you dont succeed the first time, try and try again. With heli's keep on trying!
