My Shogun V2 is flying pretty well 9t Pinion with a DH 400 motor its turning pretty good head speed although I have not put the Tach to it. once in a while Im getting that little tail bobbleup and down. Otherwise its flying well in general flight. Im trying to use more RPM than pitch so its not lagging ,I'll go check my balance again . I do appreciate hearing from you . What an improvement the Belt drive is. The best to everyone.

The belt drive is a 'must', changes the heli totally. No more wondering when/if the gears are going to fail. Much quieter and will probably eliminate your 'bobble too. The bobble does sound like a CofG issue.

if the headspeed is ok then check the dampers (o-rings) on the spindle. Put a little lube on them before assembling the spindle then tighten the spindle nuts to firm up the fit of the spindle in the headblock. should not be a sloppy fit. also tighten the blade bolts so a bit more.

since its up and down as in vertical movements and its not all the time perhaps an intermitent glitch on the elevator servo.

on another note...grab heli by head with blades extended and turn sideways as in main shaft parallel to floor...heli should balance perfectly...otherwise reposition batt or electronics to fix it.

headspeed mainly affects a side to side hunting issue.
