It really depends on what you want to do with it. If you are going to get radical with it then you can do alot of good by upgrading the head/tail/tail servo and.....if you have lots of money...the frame. The stock frame is quite flexible under loading! The tail push rod supplied is too flexible and should be upgraded (an easy DIY job) to a 3mm carbon one. Tail mounted servo reduces slop and if you can sort out the CofG then you can mount it close to the tail to elemininate 'slop'. If you are still learning then a wider stance skid set is a positive step as the stock one is very 'tippy'. It will fly fine in all stock mode (except the tail push rod). Alternatively, use the Trex SE V2 with all of the above done for you and a better performing heli in the end. Good Luck. I have a Shogun V2, a Zap 400 (basically the same thing)and a Trex SE V2. I love the 400'S but, sadly. the rex is streets ahead on quality.

The current favorite for the Shogun is the JGF(Just go fly) DH400 with a CC35 Esc

Hope this helps

Fish

Hey mcmuff,

what do you call the fish in your gallery? Here they are called kingfish, and we fish for the big ones from the rocks with live bait (live salmon or anything up to about 1lb). Hook up to 50 to 60lb kings, but from the rocks you don't stand much of a chance. From the boat, no problem, but a real challenge from the rocks.

Its called a Yellow Tail. It was about 35 lbs I used a huge sardene. Was about a mile off of the coast, usually you dont catch these this far in, maybe 3+ miles out.
