Bob...

Looks like your having some fun....good job.

Hovered mine in the front yard about 4 times...what a difference from an ECO 8. Fast verticles are amazing, this heli feels very stable and with the DX7 and a 401 gyro I'm hoping for a great flying heli.

Just can't get of week days to get it ou to the field...

for the last week, we have had rain (5 days of it)... and/ or it is to windy to fly. Winter is defeinitly on it's wasy.

Thanks for the kind invitation Larren, if I ever get over there I will look you guys up. What's the heli shop situation like over there, any good suppliers? Trex SE v2, hURRICANE 55O, Zap 400, Shogun 400?. Some nice pictures in your gallery!

To the rest of you lamenting the onset of winter, you have my commiserations, here in Malaysia we don't get winter but it does rain sometimes, for an hour or two

The downside? Supplies of parts are an issue.

Hey Rchover. The beach where we fly is called Tanjung Aru and is in the city of Kota Kinabalu. Headhunters have been replaced by low flying helis and carbon blades

We have a nice mix of local guys and some of us expats who meet up there weekly,good company and great flying, fixed and rotary models (we can't afford to be too fussy with only 8 members ha ha)
Any visitors are welcome (we have one of the best dive locations in the world right on our doorstep!)
