A buddy of mine has a set of Team Losi handled drivers.. Made from drill bit blanks and they are nice.. I just ordered a set through our LHS this evening. To get both metric and american you will have to order two sets

I have 2 sets, Dynamite and Marvikk. Both have set screws holding the shaft, maybe there are different sets by Dynamite?

The Marvikk have a slimmer handle. The Dynamite is larger and easier to hold, but I have to be careful not to apply too much force to the fastener.

Can't go wrong with either set, and if you are looking for value Marvikk is a good choice.

Edit: I just looked a the Marvikk link above, my wrenches are different. They were the ones included in the combo tool kit at Heliproz.

I have been using WIHA precision tools for a number of years. These are made in Germany, have a lifetime warranty, and market their tools to precision industrial users as well. Their prices are no different than the previously mentioned brands. I have their screwdrivers, hex head drivers and nutdrivers in both SAE and Metric.

I like MIP Thorp, too. The only disadvantage is they're not color coded.

Check out Swiss Tools

http://pbtoolsus.thomasnet.com/category/precision-bits?

I was thinking about getting 7 hex bits (1.5-6mm), 3 JIS phillips bits, and a universal bit holder/driver for 64.60 plus shipping. And they have an unlimited lifetime guarantee. I like these since they can also be used in a powerdriver or drill.

Turn it and burn it, to learn it!

Here is where I looked at the RC Car guys stuff. They use their tools more than anyone else in this hobby. I found some made by a company called Hudy, and they are awesome quality, they are just a bit on the pricy side. The cool thing is the banded markings on the ends of the wrenches that let you quickly identify which size you are grabbing.

Can you drill and tap a set screw in the handel ? I did this for a set of driver I had Just a 1/8 is set screw or I used a 5mmx1.25 thread And just got 5mm longs set screws and set it down onto the driver part. but some arent long enough to do that just a tip.

They may be. But I've never used a hex driver that will stand up to as much abuse as a Hudy.

I'm not impressed with the Hudy stuff.

The MIP drivers are as good as it gets. The Team Losi stuff is a close second.

The MIP are plastic handles which I find more comfortable than aluminum handles.

The Team Losi are aluminum handles and have replaceable tips. The tip lengths are longer on the MIP than on Team Losi. The handles are color coded on the Team Losi.

I have both the MIP and Team Losi drivers.
