I am after a Trex size heli and noticed the ARK 400.
In the UK i can not find shops who stock them for info.
Can anyone tell me what models are availble low to high spec.
I have also seen different names.X400,X450.MX400

400 450

Towerhobbies.com carries the Heli-Max Mx-400 and Mx-450. I think for the money most people are happy with the mx-400. People will argue that the Mx-450 is so close in price to the T-rex se 450 you may as well get a T-Rex. The T-Rex se's come with the motor and speed ctrl. The MX-450 has no electronics.

The Mx450XS is no longer close to the Trex 450SE price. In fact with this price cut, I would not consider any other MX model but the 450xs. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...p?&I=LXMAE5&P=0
It seems Tower is blowing out their 450xs stock. Still lots of spare parts in the pipeline. My Pro will now be a parts machine for the 450xs I just ordered.

from what i found out before i ordered my mx400 pro was that the x 400 and the mx400 or pretty much the same, the mx400 pro has a few upgrades added to it, and the mx450 has even more upgrades with a longer tail boom and longer blades

The X400 was dropped in the uk by suppliers I believe. You could have bought one about 6 months ago for £45 but I do not know any stockists now.. You could try TJD models in Kent as they were one of the dealers knocking them out cheap.. But to be honest a Mini-Titan is far superior and only a few quid more and which includes ESC and Motor....

The MX 450 at towerhobbies is only 149.00 now its a great deal.Set up the same it will do anything the TRex or Mini Titan will do.
