Is anyone flying this machine? What do you think? Looks like a good little sport heli for relaxed cruising.

See the above post, Gary really likes the new royal after fixing the tracking problem.

I'm flying the eco 8 and really it also, many of the parts are interchangable, but the frame is totally diferent and much better than the 8.

And I'm still liking it!

I've now been flying my Royal for several months, since swapping the grips around 180 degrees it flies really nicely. It's no 3D machine by any means but it's a great sports flier. I fly mine just about every weekend, I probably have well over 50 flights on it now, at approximately 10 minutes per flight. That's 500 minutes, not bad and no crashes and no replaced parts. So yes, I am liking my Eco 8 Royal.

Good to hear. I am thinking of one for a first heli for some one close to me. Thank you again.

Where did you get the fan for the AXI you are running? What batts are you using. I was thinking something like the new Evo lite 3s 4350?

I got the fan from Hobby-Lobby, as well as the 4350 mAh 3-cell battery pack, it's a PollyQuest 20C pack. I can get and easy 10 minutes with several high climbouts, and still have plenty of battery left for a reserve. I would guess if you just do sports flying with no crazy stuff you might be able to get 15-20 minutes out of the same pack
