I just put in a ys91sr and I guess from all the pressure it puts on the tank it leaks around the rubber ring on the clunk line. is there a way to fix this?

Just clean the rubber grommet with alcohol and after installing it rotate it before you install the fuel tank stopper. If that doesn't work then check the tank outer and inner surface under the grommet to make sure it is smooth with no extra plastic standing out or shavings near the opening.

The fuel tank from my new N9 kit leaks fuel around the rubber grommet like a sieve when pressurized with the SR. Cleaned the edges, rotated the grommet and couldn't get the leak to stop. Finally had to use silicon sealant to stop the leak.

It holds pressure under water, but I have not yet had a chance to fly it. It's got to be better than it was before though. If I were to guess I would bet that I was loosing about a 1/10 of a tank of fuel before due to the leak. In a hover you could watch a steady stream of fuel dripping from the underside of the tank. If this doesn't work, I might try a screw-on assembly or get another tank and grommet. The other N9's I've seen have had no problems out of the box.

Buy a T-Rex600N fuel tank rubber - fits perfect and is a much tighter fit.

Exactly what tnbulldog said. Mine leaked on the first tank full after my build with the stock grommet. I replaced with the Trex600N grommet, and it sealed in right up. I can block the fuel feed and blow into the pressure tap with no leaks at all. Simple fix, works great!

I used a Dubro pressure fitting like you use in an airplane tank. Does not leak at all. I never could get a good seal on the stock grommet.
