So is there a different V-bar for nitro? Or is it the same V-bar that has been available for a while?

I know that on v-stabi will be mounted new sensors like CSM one so they will be less sensible to vibrations on nitro.

But i don't know if it is already done or not. Seems that you can ship v-stabi to mikado to change them, one day.

VStabi has been produced in the first series (Serial PC connector) with a sensor unit for electric helis.

This sensor unit can be used at nitros as well if you are sure that no vibrations from the engine have influence to the tail sensor.

Notice: It is only the tail sensor! - If you use VStabi at the swash only it will be always possible!

To be sure the sensor won't get any vibration input from the engine, use 3 layers of stick tape to fix the sensor to the heli and check it as here described:

http://vstabi.de/wiki/index.php?title=Live

The later series with the serial connector has the nitro version of the sensor. Ask Mikado for information, what you got.

The latest series with the mini usb connector has the nitro version only.

Sorry for the Hassle R@ptorman, but do you think you could post pics of the V-bar install on the Stratus frame? How much foam did you end up using? Have you been able to get the tail drift sorted out?

No updates yet. Winter here and all the flying will be at weekends.
Due to bad weather no flights have been made...

Can you get a picture of all the electronics (just so I know where and how you're mounting everything)? Also, would you ever be willing to sell a set of arms for the tempest grips?

It has been raining all weekends
And it gets dark before I get off work in the weeks

Might be able to fly this weekend if the weather is better...
