Wonder what rappypapy's name was before he changed it ???
It would not be hard to change and start over again

Excellent point. It might be a worthwhile policy to "flag" anyone on this website who tries to change their name. The webmaster could then view the name change and if it involves someone who has generated this kind of controversy, perhaps the change should be denied.

I am aware of at least two scammers who have repeatedly changed their online names in order to continue fleecing good people!

Even if the paypal funds were cancelled or something went wrong with the deal. By your comments to the buyer and the other members in this post. You have proven that you truely are a punk. I would guess and hope your chances of selling anything else under this name are minimal.

Some arguments are sound and nothing more

Just remember "David Yates"...we CAN POLICE this thread when necessary!

I just think there's a new breed around the corner; that just do not respect the hobby. I started flying in 1957 and heli's in 1976 and we stuck together and help one another...where has it all gone????

Just my thoughts!!

payment

i know you guys aren't going to believe this, but in probably 50 transactions, here and fleabay ranging from 20.00 to 500.00, i have sent cash , the more expensive deals are kind of stressful waiting for that payment received email, but i haven't been burned once, i'm not trying to convince anyone it's a better way, but i think it tripps people out when they see cash in the envelope, kind of brings out the honesty in an otherwise ethically challenged person. love this site, scott

Scott,
I think you will trip out when someone takes your cash and says hey never got it. MO or Paypal is the only way to go for your own security.

Let us know when that first time happens and hopefully it wont be on the $500 end of that range. I have taken money orders and cash in amounts of $1200. I felt like an ass asking for cash and didn't think they would go through with it. Luckily we were both honest people so it worked out.

I would never send that much cash and in the future I will try not to request it because I know it must be stressing.

I though i got flamed once when i got a tool roller for my dad's shop.

We sent out $5200 (6 seperat money orders)with a mail money order and didnt hear back from the guy for 3 weeks, we called many times and sent enough e-mails to fill up his whole mail box.

We were about to call the cops... but of course, it came and the guy even threw in a extra key/lock set and a matching side locker for the box. Turns out the guy had open heart and was in the hospital ICU for the 3 weeks.

all im trying to say is... there's always 2 sides to the story

Hi ThunderRobo, I know you`re trying to be fair in suggesting there is always two sides to a story - which there is. But read this thread from the beginning and you will see both sides just fine.

That was 3 days ago. Do we see the promised post from him yet backing up his comments? You would think one would move pretty quickly to deliver on statements like those.

Hard to believe eh? In the middle of all this, his solution seems to be to tell more tales! Bold ones at that.

For dramatic effect, he even throws in some righteous indignation along with a whiff of righteous confidence, as if he actually believes his own crap.

This knucklehead seems to think that more baloney will somehow make this all go away. He is fabricating-on-the-fly without a single thought as to the outcome of his comments. It appears that any concept of consequence escapes his thought process entirely.
