I bought the Alan Szabo jnr DVD that shows what he is doing with the sticks to achieve all the tricks you could want. Pretty informative i reckon.

the alan video is awsome but.. it is more for advanced flyers you should be able to do inverted backwards flight before the video will help you.

Phoenix sim has demos for most of the popular 3d moves. There is an option for viewing the TX on screen, so you can watch the inputs. It also allows you to set the speed of the sim, say to 50% , so the move ends up being broken down to a slow, "learnable" rate.
