Is there a upgrade kit for existing Ion`s ? I just saw and heard about the x2 for the first time(i haven`t been keeping up) Cost if there is?

There is an upgrade for the Ion-X to Ion-X2. It costs about $300 and is worth every penny IMO. I have upgraded 2 of them. I did a review of the conversion with tons of pics on the freak site. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=43539

Yes. The conversion cost is to convert an exisiting Ion-X airframe to Ion-X2 airframe status. That is assuming you already have a flying ION with motor, batts, esc ect. If you look at my review you can see all the parts included in the conversion.
If you are starting from scratch you can just buy the ION-X2 kit.

I have an IonYes ,i have an Ion already, ran quickly thru your post but didn`t see the price. What`s the bottom line $$$ to convert, motor ,batteries, esc, ect, ect ?

You use the motor, battery, esc you already have from your Ion. You can get many ratios for it but using the same ratio as yor Ion has now would be a good place to start. Final cost about $300.
