Well i will start.... again, This was my SW16 before it found a new home.
Stock motor, 50 size conversion, running on 8s 25c flight power 3700 evo. The heli would have performed better if it could be consistently ran on 10s, other then that never had any problems.

Can someone please post a video of QWW video doing honest, real 3D?
I would love to see it.
Not hovering, not trimming, not a break in flight. Nobody cares about that stuff.
If you really want to shut up the trollers, just post the videos.
Don't make excuses about how the heli would have performed better if...
We always hear about how the QWW can do everything that is in "the book"
Don't talk about it, just do it!

Here's the quote I love: "I'm not good enough to hod a TX and a camera at the same time".

One time I duct taped a flash light to a hard hat because I needed both hands free while working in the dark. Maybe the same could be done with a camera. Or maybe, I don't know, get somebody else to hold the camera? Just a thought.

Vid's please?

If thats all it's worth...
I was at that fun fly and saw that flight. It wasn't very impressive. Curtis did the best he could with what he had. That helicopter was flown a couple of other times there with equally disappointing results. I heard later that the owner was trying to sell it.

I'm tired of seeing QWW getting bashed. I keep hearing that the QWW can hold it's own against other helicopters.
Just show me. Plain and simple with no excuses. That flight didn't do it!
Show me the video!

For you Mr. Stick it is about the pilot & his capabilities to fly 3D & really not the machine. Today most helicopters have similar timing with little variation in there mechanically components other than material differences.

I hope you can understand all machines will do 3D….some will stay together better than others…many will crash form either pilot error or mechanical malfunction.

REMEMBER ONLY THE BLADES FLY....

A great pilot can fly a boom HANDLE with a rotor on top...

You can take A Schulter Champion from 20 years ago put in new motors, NEW SERVOS & fully sym blades & you would be very surprised to see the performance.

Going down the toilet....

This thread is headed in that direction, again....and if it continues, I'm sure Mark R will close it down, again.....

Chris,

I'm sure there is someone in your neck of the woods (Pa) that is a capable enough pilot to shoot some videos of your products....let's get them done once and for all and get them posted !!!.....I'm sure that will end the banter back and forth....

How about it ??

you arn't going to hear from Chris/Irwin, Chris Pauls account was just shut down.

I thought irwin said a few months ago some big time heli magazine reviewer was stopping buy to fly some birds, never heard if that ever happened or what came from it.

That would be Mike Mas...owner and publisher of Rotory Modeler.....

A golden opportunity was surely missed if no video was taken at that time.....

Guess it's never gonna happen at this point. Weather is crappy here in Indiana and can't be any better in PA....

Oh well, guess I'll stick with a heli that I have actually seen some decent vids of. There are lots of them out there....just not here.

Thanks for the comments! I was expecting some smart ass remarks from everybody... I've had the heli for almost 3 months now and finally got all the bugs worked out and the glitch fixed... It felt VERY smooth in that video and the wind was blowing 10 mph.

This weekend I hope to start tossing it around and see how well it performs. I will post video as soon as I fly!

I too was waiting for some off remark from the Quick haters. Maybe they have finally decided to grow up a little.

Of course you know "smooth" flight isn't in vogue according to the 3d crowd.......
