| Dave, something is puzzling me here, I understand the concept, but with a 2 blade head and you set the tacho, as you suggest in your example to 1700rpm on the tacho and the head is rotating at 850rpm, will you still not see 2 blades throught the shutter? as one blade has done 180deg rotation instead of 360deg?, so it still looks like 2 blades?
Or in standard use is the tacho shutter opening twice every revolution?, so you would see four blades, as you say, if taco set to twice the speed setting.
Suppose that's my question, is the Skytach shutter frequency matched to the head rpm? or is it twice head rpm?
