Can spectrum rx and tx be used for a UAV ?

I am runing a spectrum moduel in my futaba 9chp remote and a dx 7000 rx and am wondering whats the real out of sight range i can have with that set up if any. And whats the verticle range while im asking.

If not what remote do you guys recomend?

Hey Dave.

I think AnthonyRC has a module that will go far but Intelligent Flight will have something better in the works for less. Shh it's secret. But yes it should be more stable and should hook up to your Futaba!

Then flying for miles is a breeze!!!
