I just got my hdx 500 and built per the specifications in the directions. as i am not the most expierienced pilot i thought it would be a good idea to have an expierienced pilot make the first flight. when i brought my chopper to him he took one look at it and said the det up was not flyable and to bring it to him when it was. this is unfortunate because when i gave him the helicopter i obviosly thought the bird was ready to go or at least close enought that it would be safe to fly. so clearly i naeed help. my radio is a spectrum dx7 and my bird hdx500se. if somone could spell out what the proper setup for both the radio and bird that would be fantastic and immensly helpful.. please assist!!!

The way I first figured it all out was the Read the Manual(Radio manual) theres a lot to explain and the manual usually handles that, i know my Futaba manual explained everything pretty clearly. Other then that I dont have a dx7 so i cant really help. Sorry.

i had dx7 + t-rex 450
then bought the 3dx500 . i just copy the program from t-rex and fly an 3dx500.
