Just ordered a new HDX500. I know that most of the major parts are factory pre-assembled like the head, tail and frame. Do I need to take everything apart and re-assemble them with thread lock applied? Is that needed? I'm not sure if thread lock was applied in the factory though.

Thanks.

Also if I need to buy some motor pinions, where can I find them? Does any of the popular R/C trucks (like E-Maxx or e-Savage) pinions work on the HDX500?

Thanks.

Check the revo pinions at readyheli, we try to threadlock everything at the factory but stuff does sometimes get by. So i personally go ovver everything.

Thanks for the response Nick. In that case I will go over all the screws and threadlock them. I will check out the Revo pinion.

Thanks.
