Ok, about to give up!
Got the setup all installed. Programmed Rud-to-Rud mix on my X9303 to initialize T9 for Tail Motor; work great.
Release Throttle Hold, while holding right rudder. Spool-up main rotor and center rudder stick.
Can't stop tail from spinning, tried reversing gyro.

Full right rudder input stops tail motor, left input goes full speed.

What am I missing?

Try reversing on your radio, you may have to switch the gyro back, but see what happens first, Reversing the gyro makes it think the tail is going the wrong way (or corrects for wrong way), it sounds like your servo setting is backwards.

sounds like you have your rudder channel reversed. With the motor at full speed with full left rudder, is the nose actually going left? I usually arm mine with left rudder.

flying is simple, electronics is hard

I just put on the feiago motor and 6 amp ESC with a cheesy telebee gyro and I absolutely LOVE it ! Holds as good as any belt drive I ever tried.

i put the set up that tutelar has on hisexcept i got the bphobbie ESC's and i cant seem to find a pinion.i bought one from the lhs and it does not fit it was a 10tooth from e-flite.any suggestions will be greatly wellcomed.

i got the wrong shaft it is 2.3 shaft.i had to order one from bp will be getting them in a couple of days to fit the 2.3 shaft.

One question, I seem to recall, with the stock setup, the tail motor would run in both directions, depending on rudder stick input. I could pirouette on the training gear in either direction on the ground. Should it now?

The tail on the blade cp only spins one direction, the opposing force of the main blade turns the heli the other direction, the tail blade is probably free wheeling which makes it look like it is spinning the other direction.

i got my cp in seperate and hhgyro from my blade 400 and it is one bad lil heli now.i am using the setup tutelar has on his and i recumend it to anyone.thanks tutelar for sharing with us.

I can't wait to get mine.

I found GWS Motor+Props kit at LHS here so i installed and its working pretty good until I get my BL from BP.

I don't know because of gyro suck or ESC is giving too much power to the motor then gyro is asking, I found my self keep having to trim to Rudder Left about 30 points on Futaba 6EXH because its wants to spin clockwise very slowly in the air. Once I set the trim right, its lock in good and I can hover down in basement without any rudder input at all.

I have Esky HH gyro with Esky Brush Gyro. BP hobbies kit is coming hopefully this Saturday.

Bad luck, I just suck with this.

I got my kit today, with small bullts connectors on each end, flew great it was windy out too.
then tail spin out of control and had to drop it, broke paper clip, replaced, checked out everthing is fine tail initlize etc. Took it back out and beeping on tail seem louder but spin good lift off then tail stalled, landed and smoke came out of the motor and ESC smell burnt and all the wires melted inside the tail boom.

$65 down the drain

on closer look look like one of the wires from the motor is broken and probably caused to burn out the ESC. I already open it and probably can't return it any more, I use clips to test it and it beeps properly and spin up. I also found a thread to fix them things. Probably get Medusa set later, after I do some side jobs for my heli funds.
