Photos and Movies > camera cradle?

I've *finally* decided on a Raptor V2 .30 and I need some sort of sling or rig or clamp that I can secure my Nikon Coolpix 880 to for aerial photography.

The camera does not need to move, I'll simply rotate the heli...

I'd like it to be in 2 different positions:
pointing straight down
and
pointing at about a 30-degree angle (or so).

Can someone make some suggestions?

Thanks!

that looks very sturdy and well made...

I've saved your photo... maybe I can use it as a model?

Thanks again!

Sure use it as you wish
I used it on my raptor 30 and it worked good.
The top 4 rubber mounts are cessna rubber instrument mounts and the rest are just standard vibration, shock mounts. You can view the pictures in my gallery.

wow.... that's a cool looking rig!

I think it's a bit too advanced for me, tho.
I like Chad's (cmartin) concept.

I think you rig will be my "Dreaming About Stage 2" and about 6 months to a year down the road.

But I've saved your photos and they will serve to inspire me...

Thanks for sharing...

That's wise thinking.

I can tell you now after you have learnt to fly around in circuits any plans you made will change by your own choice so be flexible and that means dont commint too much money till youve proven to yourself that IS what you needed to spend it on.
