I just oredered one!

I've been playing with the idea and looking at pictures for days now and I've just talked with Ken from Radiocontrol-Sports.com ... He offered me such a great and fast support I decided I could not miss such an opportunity!

Kudos to you Ken! You're doing a terrific job. It has been a real pleasure dealing with you, even more considering my "mid afternoon" browsing means "mid night" customer support!

yes and no i guess is the best answer

the beam is not made by MA but will be distributed by them (soon)

you can get them now though from a few shops in singapore
which is where the beam originates from

the heli that ma will be distributing is the same as this one
the only difference may be a different canopy, a pretier box and of course ma's name

I've never been interested much in helis this size, but I have to admit this thing may just change my mind. Absolutely beautiful heli!

I've been focusing on electric helis of the EP8 size and above for the advantages they offer in size and resultant flight performance.

The Beam definitely changed my opinion altogether after a few packs.
Some may say my opinions are biased, I'll just say I fly harder than I sell

So let's hear from everybody who had experienced the heli also

I've just got an email back about the configuration used in this video :

Hot setup video

And the guy is running the following configuration :

Motor :Mini Titian Motor 3500kv ( 13thool)
ESC :Mini tItian 40a Esc( 100% Full thro) Gov mode,Hard Timing.
Battery :Flightpower 2500amh (25c)
Cyclic servos :Hitec 65 carbon Gear X 3
Gyro :Csm Gyro 630
Tail Servo :9206 Futaba Servo

Anybody have tried the mini titan motor on the beam? I found it was one of the configuration that looks the most powerfull...

The BEAM is from Korea, not Singapore.

For information, what servo arm length are you using for a full 3D setup?

Where do you order one? Are they available in the States or do I have to wait for Minature to get them.

I've ordered mine from http://shop.radiocontrol-sports.com/

Ken has been a pleasure to deal with : before the sales answering question, during the sales by packaging the thing at 3am just so he could post it first hour next morning (By the way, less than a week later, it was at my door) and after the sales by answering many questions about setup I had (it is my first 325mm blade machine)

I would recommend it to anybody. I owe nothing to this guys, but I feel I have the need to tell when a hobby shop is doing everything he can to please his clients. This is not always the case locally
