Is anyone using V-paddles on their 600, if so how far are you threading them onto the flybar?

I have them in jst far enough that you don't see threads where the two grub screws go.

the key here is to measure the distance between the paddle and fly bar cage. Look at the manual and you will see. If you use the stock 400mm fly bar you will have 125mm if you have the 440mm bar you will have 145mm.

If you follow the manual with the 400mm flybar then there will be threads in the grub screw holes.

I don't feel that it will make a difference. The 2 grub screws with lock tight will hold on the threads. Many plastic paddles have one grub screw that tightens on the treads. If you thread them on too far you start forcing the fly bar into the foam core of the paddle. I really don't think you want to do this. Try this: insert a small screw driver into the paddle and see how far it goes, it will stop. then use that info to measure the fly bar between the paddles and cage it will equal the correct number of mm. (125 or 145)

I have them too- threaded in far enough that the grub screws are on the smooth shaft.

Real question: how do you guys like them? I find that they really don't fly my machine much different than the stock Align paddles. That on an electric by the way (boo, hiss!).

Try backing them out on the fly bar. By threading them in that far I bet you are losing some cyclic authority. I have the Align carbon paddles and they are 100% better then the plastic sticker paddles.
