Now the question for those of us in the US is when will Tower start selling them?

Ann Marie are you out there? Any comment?

Semi,
It seems to work ok for me, you shouldn't have been getting that error.

Hey Squirrel

I've noticed you posting the link to littlerotors on here for quite sometime. Last night I finally checked it out and just wanted to tell you I thoroughly enjoyed it! The article on the Caliber is what first grabbed my attention, but after about an hour, I relised that I was still on your web site reading all those good articles. You might have even inspired me to do a show-and-tell for my nephews 5th grade class.
Just wanted to say good work...

Caliber 30

Thanks for the review Secret Squrrel, nice site too!
Now I really want a Caliber. You think if enough of people inquire at Tower Hobbies they will hurry and import them?

Guys,
I just heard from Aaron who wrote the review.

He says that the Caliber 30 will be NZ$1200 with motor (didn't say which one), or NZ$995 without engine.

That's the prices here in New Zealand.

NZ$1 = US$0.42

$500 bucks US, it won't sell at that cost to the US market. Even with the engine. People can get a Sceadu or dare I say... Raptor for less.

The engine it comes with is the OS 32.

Ken, that's the estimated pricing over here. I'd say you guys will probably be different, just wanted to give you an idea of the ball park figure.

Guys,
I had a 'special' offer from Cyberheli earlier this week for the Caliber30 with OS32 (and glass blades??) for under US$400, as the buyer pulled out at the last minute. It sold within 4 minutes of being advertised.
