hi everybody
i have a hurricane 550
can anybody recomend a motor and esc to get this flying
the set up is 2 evo25 2170mah 11.1v lipo batteries form
flightpower for main power
i am using a sanyo 4.8v 1700mah nicad for reciever and servos
i am not using a bec

the stock setup works fairly well for mild flying, the Z-power z20 looks like it works a little better then the stock setup and maintains good flight times, and it also works with the stock 50 amp esc. the Z30 looks to work very well but it will not likely work with your current batteries and you will need the 75amp esc. I currently am using the stock motor and esc but will probalby go with the Z-20 shortly since I am not looking for a wild machine but something a little more crisp and quicker cyclic.

If you plan to use 2000-2200s then get stock motor and esc. If you will go with 3300s then I would highly recommand gaui upgraded motor and esc.
