Glad to see you got your conversion up and running. My E-Shuttle (with Funkey Ranger body) conversion just passed 55 flights of glitch free performance. I assume you were not able to find another pinion. That is why I did away with the clutch assembly to save weight and installed a 9 tooth pinion. This gives me a head speed of about 1800rpm. I am still running the Neu 1907 1.5Y motor 915 KV, 6s2p A123's, CCHV45ESC, and the CC 10amp BEC. All come down cool as a cucummber. I modified the main gear to provide direct drive to the tail. My last flight came in at just over 11 min.
All my flying Buds keep asking for some flight time, which I let them all have. I expect to see a few conversions show up soon. Since I started using A123's alot of interest is brewing. |
