| I am not sure that they need to re-design it from a technical standpoint. It flies very, very well the way it is.
That being said, I am seeing more and more in the way of TREX 600N's and fewer Raptors, in Southern California (not a scientific sample).
I think that they will probably have to release a newer, much revised or entirely different model, from a pure marketing standpoint, for image reasons.
The average person in the hobby, appears to be enamored with the "latest thing". I know that I had the opportunity to fly a well set up TREX 600N, and immediately wanted one. I fought off the urge. (it did feel like it flew a bit better, by the way).
It made no sense to buy one now. I suppose, if and when, Thunder Tiger releases a newer model, I will want that one too. |
