| well guys without a doubt a longer flybar really wakes up the Hurricane! for those of you running the stock hurricane like me it now flies great! The Raptor flybar is about 2 inches longer then stock and with the stock motor it now rolls very nicely, much faster, I can now do continous rolls with the a stock setup and evo2500 and 2170 packs! Acctually for anyone i would probably try the swap, I also beleive the Trex 600 flybar is about the same as the raptor give or take a few mm's. With the stock setup, i lost too much head speed to do continous rolls / Flips because of the needed collective, now it will do a easy 5 or 6 continous rolls / flips. It does need more power to do a nice funnel but i am now going to stick with the stock motor for a bit longer now. I am Very Very happy with this Heli Now. it now matches my Trex 450 on the flip and roll rates and the Hurricane was always better on climb outs. so 6-7 minute flights on "cheap packs" (2170-2500) makes this a Awesome heli! I might try dropping a tooth on the pinion and going with the Trex 600 cabon paddles |
