I say it again....
Alot of it has to do with how the heli is set up and whose hands is at the controls... sure each bird has their pros and cons but
Alan Szabo jr's flying looked just as good with the raptor as the trex and as the aurora....

This, right here, is the bottom line. Too many people take what is spewed out by internet cowboys as RC gospel.

Get out and fly. Enjoy the hobby. Build your skill. These heli's are far more capable than what the vast majority could utilize. Raptor vs. Trex ?? ....Please. If you're good, you'll get the best out of both.

This is a site for people to compair heli's and talk smack.

I'd agree with the first point only. I doubt the business plan of Mark included the terms "Talk Smack" or any words to that extent.

Under Member Policy and Vendor Marketing Policy...Subsection "Are you a Troll?"

:One way to become known as a troll is to regularly post short comment replies (junk) that on average contains no relevant content. This site is about sharing your hobby experiences.

The closest to "smack talk" is:

In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, most often in the form of posting inflammatory, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate messages.

But it is used as a bad thing...Not a goal.

I noticed that you don't have a raptor so what the hell are you doing trolling the raptor forum for?

I came into a discussion titled "RAPTOR 50 600N Vs. Raptor 50". I own one, and have set up and flown the other brand more than once. YOU went into the Trex forum and *started* a troll post claiming to love the Raptor. It was clearly a post only to troll and you even admitted that "Hell yeah I talked shi! about the 600n in the align forum for a reason..."--cookie monster

Who is trolling again?

This is really what this thread is all about. People become experts on bashing various products even though they've never owned the product. And by "bashing", I refer to listing out all the negative (and yes, only the negative) aspects of a product and exaggerating said aspects as much as possible. Not much can come out of this, except for a lot of hatred, and it's really sad that people who used to contribute "sanely" to threads have dropped to this level.

Bottom line is yes, the Trex 600N is better, technically, than the Raptor. It's 10 frickin years newer without the need to think about old stocked parts, of course it's better. It doesn't mean that the Raptor flies like a dog, it just means that it can't match the T-rex, stock for stock. Can you enjoy flying either? Yes. Which would you prefer to crash? Depends. Which would you prefer to buy? Again, depends. Is the Trex 600N a perfect gift of god, worth of adoration and free from sin? In your dreams. No helicopter is perfect.

Enjoy whatever helicopter you have. You don't need to try to increase your manlihood by bashing other supposedly inferior products. Or do you?

Very well siad firefox

I have a Raptor Titan and I can look at the 600n and appreciate it as a great helicopter. I love my Titan and I'm not going to trade it in any time soon but if I were to consider getting a new helicopter I would look at the 600n. Bottom line for me is, take a look at the newest thing, if you like it, get it, if you don't, well then don't.

I just started in this hobby about two months ago. I bought a Used Raptor 50 titan RTF. No one I knew at the time even owned a nitro helicopter or had ever seen one. So as Mr. MR10X story tells us about the little boy flying his raptor telling his friends that its the best and thats the only reason people by them, sorry not in my case. My titan got me into this hobby for less then any other used 50 I could find. I got mine with no one telling what was good or bad. As for the 600n, Ive never seen one in person. Sounds like a heck of a heli. I'm sure it would be great but I'm sticking with my Raptor.

When are you guys going to put mr10x on your ignore list? He's been on mine for a long time. He is obviously a troll and has nothing intelligent or helpful to add to any thread in the TT forum.

Never owned a raptor,i was able to fly someone else's so i didnt have to waste my good money on buying one.

That explains alot, a flight or two on one machine and someone knows everything about the helicopter. Heli88, after reading a bit I think you have a valid point.

Mr10X
Raptors don't fly good, they fly well, very well indeed.
So you prefer almost anything to a Raptor. Who cares?

When are you guys going to put mr10x on your ignore list?

I can't put him on my ignore list as I find his comments far to entertaining when he harps on about the faults of a heli he has never owned.
After such a long time of him bashing the raptor I never realised until this thread started that he had never owned one, I just thought maybe he once owned one, did a crap job of building it, followed by a lack of ability to set it up so the end result was he had many failures caused by a lack of building ability and so started to bash them.
Mr10x has flown a couple of flights with a raptor so based his entire knowledge on those few flights. I wonder how many of the alledged failures he had on that raptor in those flights? I bet not a single fault.
I have about the same experience with the evo (which he says is way better than a raptor at everything) as he does with a raptor but during those few flights it suffered a serious woof and almost shook itself apart, it had the 3d ability of an elephant and it looked like the frames and all the other plastic would break if they were sneezed on to hard. So I should based on that huge amount of experience be bashing it to hell, yet I accept it was someone elses model that may not have been built or set up very well so I don't bash it.

That is true cookie monster, most of these guys hang out at the 'Off Topic' section to increase their post count. It is okay over there as most of the arguments are expected to be crap but here people are more interested in real intelligence and knowledge about these helis.

It is a bad day here at RR.....I have been put on Mr. 10x's ignore list..... Why don't you just stay out of the TT forum.... ??? Seems like you spend most of your time bashing a product and not flying..
