Here guy's still fly raptors because i have seen ten 600n's crash and every time its frame, blades, servos, motor damaged, boom, sometimes the gyro or govonor take a bad smash. The raptor parts flow threw the LHS in California and some 600n owner's will go back to the raptors after a bad crash.

For the price of 2 Raptor Titan 50 kits vs 1 600N pro kit here, I will definitely choose Raptor.

I don't foresee Raptor parts becoming difficult to buy anytime soon. They will be around for a while regardless of whether or not TT chooses to release a new heli. You should not worry about parts availability.

I agree that it is a bit touchy and most 600n's are 5 puonds and most raptors are 6.5 but they don't handle the crash's like a raptor can. Don't buy something just because everyone else fly's them. I got the titan 50 because learning and service is simple and the parts are cheap. Just my 2 cents

If you have a 600n thats 5 pounds it doesn't have any electronics or a motor in it. Same with the Raptor.

They are a bit lighter though.

"They say its like driving a hyundai and going to 600n is like getting in a Ferrari."

Yeah. Just look at how ****ty this Hyundai drives!! Someone should tell him because he doesn't know it.

The exaggerated comparisons are ridiculous.

I also prefer to continue flying my Raptor 50 with Kasama head. It flys awesome. As the guys who fly 600n said 600n is lighter and parts are much cheaper. These make 600n much better than un-tuned raptor.
The only issue I am worrying is the spare parts of raptor, when there is less profitable the retailer will switch to 600n too. When this really happen, I think I will have to switch to 600n

When the parts start becoming scarce or I crash hard enough then I won't have any prob jumping to the 600n, the next "great and affordable" heli. But just because it's there isn't a reason enough for me to do an all out replacement. The majority of us can't even touch the full potential of both of these machines.

The 600n sure is purdy though! That's one area where I am jealous I have to admit.

The thing i dont get is that everyone jumps ship when somthing new comes out. Oh brand x is better than brand y. But they still arent capable of every thing the machine is (if that made sense).

That does not matter at all. Most people switched because they like new things... no problem with that. Or they want a machine that has a better lcoked in feel to them. It seems that the 600n has the raptor beat in that area.

Compare the Sport with the titan, they are the closet together.

I flew my Stock Raptor 50 for the better part of the year as a learning machine. I beat it day in and day out and it kept asking for more. I then got a Synergy and I never flew the Raptor any more because of the pitchyness and the never "locked" in feel.

My 600n pro flies so close to the Synergy it is unbelievable. You instantly feel connected to the heli, it is great. The Raptor 50 is/was a great helicopter but it has gotten beat. Plain and simple.

Service is quicker on the 600n than it is on a Raptor. No questions.

Ill always have a Raptor in my fleet! They are great Helis! These Align fanatics make it sound like the T-REX is light-years ahead of the RAPTOR!! This is definately not true!! The 600N is a nice heli but i dont see anything that great on it or in it to trade in my Raptor!!

A guy at our field stripped al the equipment out of his Raptor to put in his 600,i forsee him selling the raptor bones now since he has flown his 600. Look for raptor 50 for sale in the classified. Also a guy with 2 r 50's said his raptor is just not quick like the 600,it has to struggle to do things.i can see 2 more raptors for sale soon.

I also stripped my Raptor 50SE with Kasama head to put the electronics and the Hyper to the TRex Nitro Pro I bought yesterday.

Yes Raptors are nice machines but let's face it. They are obsolete. It's an almost ten years design. You have to split the frames to replace the main shaft bearings and at the bottom line yes I'd like to have a different machine, with different design and feel something different.

TT CEO have to react soon if he want to keep his company on the top. Selling the same helis in different boxes with different equipment is not working anymore. Soon my 90SE will follow as well and will be replaved from a newer and modern 90.

I have owned & flown both and I would say that the 600N has the edge in flight characteristcs. Plus it is CCPM and has a better fan hub design, tail pushrod design and as mentioned before has bearing blocks that can be removed without splitting the frames. Add to that that the motor can be dropped out in about 2 minutes and I would rather be servicing the 600N than my old raptor.

That being said, I haven't crashed my 600N, so I can't speak towards what breaks in a crash. Where the struts mount to the frame does seem like a weak point (Frames breaking there in a crash), but I am probably going to just get some 3mm nylon bolts that will shear off and help prevent that from happening.

Bottom line is that you don't have to get a 600N because everyone else at your field is switching brands, but there just might be a reason that everyone is changing to the Rex.

I have flown both, and am an intermediate pilot (funnels, tic tocs, inverted stuffs). Rappy 50 v2 with kasama, gy611, hatori, at 2100 idle 2, is not that far off from a stock sport.

I would rate it at about 10 percent gain in performance. Once again I am intermediate at best, so take it for what you will. Experts will probably find the difference to be larger.

The problem is, a Kasama head is half the price of the entire 600 sport kit. The weight problem is not worth throwing money at, better off just getting a sport kit when/if you have a serious crash.
