| When soldering on the connectors, just use different colored shrink so you can keep track of which wire you are switching. I've worked with all black wires before and I lost track of how many times I thought I was switching wires when in fact, I was just re-plugging them back together THINKING I had switched them...yes, in fact, I AM an idiot sometimes! 
My excuse: I get distracted by the kids grabbing my heli while I'm soldering and switching plugs so I lose track of what I was doing.
