Solid Edge V19. I want to be able to add textures and lighting but don't know how....yet...

if you want to add textures you must make shure that you got the textures show option turned on. ( this you can do under the Format ---> View then check the textures option)

Now you can make an custom "Face style", go to the Format tab and select the Face Style option, then click "new". Assign the texture you want, and now you can apply it to the surface you want by using the Part Painter tool.

here is one i didd.. nothing fancy
