| i am testing my Swift right now with a 1910H/1Y with a 5s setup.
The data logger is showing that the amps i am pulling is high, but that is because the blades (1) i am using are heavy/long , (2) i have +/-13 pitch, and (3) bec. of my sub-par battery pack
this weekend i will be trying out better battery packs and see how well/or badly my batteries perform. i will also test it with some lighter/smaller blades.
the main reason i would keep this motor is because i can always upgrade in the future with more cells. it is quite large when i compare it next to my 1907/1.5y ... and had to shave the frames of my swift a little so then it could fit.
my 2 cents ... khan
<EDIT> when i mention high amp draw, it is still within my ESC's limit. i am using a 80-6-18, and so far the highest i have peaked at is 65amps (with tictocs). the ESC is warm only, and do note ... it is also powering my receiver. my main concern is the voltage drop ... for sure a 6s will handle the load easily, and the amp draw will be even lesser |
