| HiWell put. It’s a funny nut to crack this one. I’m definitely no expert at this, but I am having an attempt at cracking this one up to the chaos stage. I to just could not synchronise my cyclic with the rotation of the heli,
We were lucky enough to have Bob Johnston come to our field for a training day last year, that’s when we saw his hand movements for the piro flip/chaos...very busy going around with lots of cyclic deflection.
Since then I realise as long as the cyclic is synchronised with the rotation, a small input of cyclic will do more piro's per flip and vice versa
Perhaps you could try what I do for learning the pirouetting loop. Nice steady rotation to start, then use only forward and back smooth stabs of elevator to pull the helicopter over, using pitch to power the helicopter up through the maneouver.I works for slow pirouetting flips .
I have found as well that with the piro/flip , try to start the flip first by flipping up into wind , meaning to use the wind to lift the model up and then over.like you would a standard flip.
alway learning
