Thats it i'm giving up! So far i've tried the hammer method with the sockets and the clamp vise method, and so far it hasn't moved 1mm! Thats right 1mm! Is this thing epoxied to the hub or something? How are you guys getting it out?

Now for the GOOD NEWS! The Ebay one-way bearing came in today and it does look promising. Comparing it to the OEM bearing, the sleeve slides right in and fits like a glove. It free wheels very smoothly and nicely, and instantly grabs. How it performs and holds up is another question.

Now all I gotta do is get this thing out

I just changed my one way tonight. I removed the one way hub base from the main gear. I then set up my vise to just clear the one way bearing. I then took my heat gun and slowly heated the entire one way holder all the way around. I then used a 4-way glo plug wrench and a hammer to lightly tap out the old bearing. It practally fell out. I quickly put the new one with a couple of gentle taps with the hammer and the side of the 4-way wrench. Just make sure you get the bearing in the right way. Otherwise you will get to remove the thing again for practice. The whole process took less than 10 min not counting pulling the main gear out of the heli. Give it a try. You could also put the new one way into the freezer for a couple of hours before starting this whole procedure. That way the new bearing would just drop in. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

You got to really beat on it, just make sure the sockets are lined up though. If that dont work, get a bigger hammer.

I just use a vice and some sockets to push it out. A lot easier on the bearing than beating it. Just put a larger socket on one side and one slightly smaller than the bearing on the other side and press the bearing out into the larger one. Just did it this morning and it was quick and easy.

HeliDirect has a one way removal tool. If its like the 450 one it should be nice.
