I dont know if anyone has done this yet. but to mount my gyro i installed the plastic mount in the front of my 600N upside down providing me with a flat surface to mount my gyro. has anyone else tried this?

It looks like a good idea but i would wrap a velcro strap aroung the gyro lightly tho.

Hey I didn't ask for this fetish.!!!But I'am sure paying for it....

can i ask why you decided to mount your gyro there ? rather than at the back or on the servos ?

I just didnt like the idea of mounting my gyro on top of the servos because if i have to for any reason change one of the servos i would have to remove the gyro and remount. as for mounting in the back i just wanted to try something different, all my gyros on my Raptor 50s are mounted in the back. i will use the velcro around the gyro idea thanks.

I considered this also..although I never got round to trying it..just been having so much fun with my 600n's

My thoughts were... My 720 is just too tight up front on top of the servo's + I like to keep all my Radio under the hood with a min of wiring and it would help keep the CG in the optimial position.

Also with the angle facing upwards it gives me enough clearance to fit my camera up front without using a full mounting system

Looks like a good place to mount it, I have mine in the back and seems to work well.. I guess in the event of a nose in crash your gyro would be more volnerable.. but dont crash and eveything lasts longer :P good idea though!
