I do not have the servos in yet. I really hope that makes this frame more rigid. When I grab the top of the rotor head I can very easily move the whole frame side to side. I can see that being a problem.
So please tell me the servos strengthen everything...

No they don't

How tight are the screws holding the bearing blocks to the side frame? Is the landing gear, bottom brace, servo tray, and tail assy installed?

Please stand by for faster service!

Talk to JaxRotor, he used another frame spacer near the top between the canopy mounting studs.

Nope they don't. There really isn't any frame stiffening. I can grab the head and twist the frame on every 600n I have seen so far.

Maybe all that flex is what is killing the one way bearings...

Anyone have a part number for the extra frame brace/spacers? I'd like to get some myself...

Is it these:

by chance?

It doesn't need anything else, at all,, yes it flexes but doesn't effect anything in flight.

The one-way is supported in-between the 2nd and 3rd bearing block and is probably the 'stiffest' part of the frame assembly.

Are you sure that you're not flexing the landing skids when your doing that?

I'm with colsy on this..it's well up to the job in hand

Note:- The overall frame stiffness comes from having ALL the parts fitted including the servo's.

Most motor vehicles are constructed this way it's knowm as 'Monocoup' construction..
