are you say the frame flexes because of the vibes or the frames flexing causes vibes?

Both my Pro and Sport were the same way. I could easily flex the frame. My Avant is rock solid as well as my Knight 3D. I think alot of it has to do with the lack of stiffening in the frame. Compared to the Avant and Knight frames there is a serious lack of frame stiffeners in the 600.

I'm saying the top portion of the frameset where the top bearing block is, is very flimsy. If there is any out of balance condition in the head it will flex the frames and cause the entire heli to shake.

Even a balanced system has inherent vibration during different flight conditions.

I'm saying I don't like a flimsy frame. Is it bad? I think it is. I have seen a few 600ns flying and they all seem to shake the landing gear in the same frequency as the head.

I started a topic on frames so I don't deflect this one.

Compass? pro and sport?
I currently have Avant FX,Knight 3D,two 600N Pros,3D Pro
and yes the frames will flex on all of them, the Knight 3D flexes enough to make the engine shut off at idle.

Align 600n Pro and Sport. My 3D does not flex like both of my 600's did.

Well than it must be the G10 because the top end of this heli bends with the wind.

Big difference between the G10 and Carbon.

Last post this thread:

The G10 flexes more than the Carbon...But people I know that have the G10 do not seem to notice unless I point it out.

How exactly does frame flexing affect the oneway ??????

Didn't say it does effect the one-way. Strike that from my statement. The main gear pretty much floats on it so I don't see how frame flex would have much if any effect on the one-way at all.

OK, with all the posts about flexing in a oneway thread I assumed it must have an affect.

fwiw...

We've seen 600 e rexes fly with almost 4.25 hp going into the motor...
If there was a problem with these frames flexing, that would show it quickly...Not that much bending force in flight anyway, and the main shaft indeed acts as a stiffener in pitch and roll..I beat my 600 all the time, and have never felt or seen any unusual flight characteristics...

It flexes but I don't think it's a flight issue.

just received and installed the RC-bearings one-way. I am pretty busy tomorrow, but I will try to get out and test fly it in the next few days. I will report back with the results.

This is probably a dumb question but what actually happens while in flight...and your bearing locks up?

I ask this because I was flying today...my last flight of the day and all of the sudden my motor cut off. I auto down safely but have not had time to check things out.

Nothing really, but if you try to flip throttle hold, sometimes the motor won't disengage. (Because the main gear can't freewheel and the clutch stays engaged, thus driving the motor). During powered flight you don't really notice it, at least I don't.

Your autos will suffer a little because the rotorhead will be robbed of some energy, due to turning the motor.

Probably a bit more drag during an auto if you have the belt drive. It is really noticeable. BTW the Align repalcement (part # HN6064) fixed this issue for me. I cleaned the oneway really good, lubed it with TriFlow and slipped in the new sleeve and have not had another problem.

I bought my kit from Heliproz. They helped me get a replacement oneway from Align. They may not be on the shelf yet.

so far 5 tanks on my 600N pro and no lock ups. Very smooth and spins very free. But also ive done no 3d or autos and havent really put any strain or test to the bearing to see if it locks up. Im checkin it every flight!!!
