So far it is 31/137 for a failure rate of 22.6%.

I could be wrong but there are probably another 22.6% out there that don't even know there one way is locked up.

It doesn't look like these are going to be warranteed. We have to pay for the Fix/Upgrade. Here is what I got from Align...

#32 add me

I am sure it is higher than 32 but add me to the list, I bailed out of an auto and that is all she wrote, broke the bearing cage in 2 places and the rollers stacked up on one side and now the main gear has a bad runout of about .060 and wobbles. It is bad enough that the main gear touches the tail belt gear for about 1/3 of a rotation. I think I am going to give the RCBearings one a try. I think this is about the worst failure mode the bearing can have. I haven't heard of one freespinning in the driven direction yet.

Our one-ways don't lock up at an unusually high rate of failure.

We would never admit we designed it wrong by offering a warranty.

However, if you want to spend some more money, here is an upgrade................... "For Preventing Locking"!!!

Part Number HN6064

thats a little money maker for them....... mind you even if i have to pay a little extra for a few parts i dont mind , still think with the 600n you feel like your getting your moneys worth, but then when you spend a couple of hundred pounds or dollars on any product you shouldnt have to go out and buy extra to get it working properlly.

When I purchased my Pro version (or what ever they call the one with the TT) It locked up after a few flights. I cleaned and re-lubed with ATF and it was fine for many gallons. I just purchased a Sport version. I cleaned and lubed with ATF right out of the box. It locked up on the second flight. Some of these QC issues are starting to bug me......

Classic Align. Can't say many of us didn't cry about how we think Align builds junk.

So far my 600 has been decent. The part that bothers me the most about this heli is how ridiculously flimsy the top half of the frameset is. Everybody... grab the head and hold the frame... now wiggle it side to side... the top bearing block moves too much for my satisfaction. I believe this could be the source of vibes and possibly other issues in the future. We'll have to see over time. Do the same with an EVO50. Rock solid.

Well than it must be the G10 because the top end of this heli bends with the wind.

i cant see that there would be much difrence between a g10 and a carbon frame if your trying to rock it side ways

Well there must be a huge difference because the top half of this heli is anything but rock solid. I can flex it probably 1/8" sideways with not too much effort.

Tell you what. When I get home I'll put a straight edge along the side and flex it. I'll take a picture of the gap on the side between the straight edge and the frame.

Yes and anything that might be slightly out of balance up in the head will show up big time. I believe this is why so many are reporting vibes. I think this heli requires extra care balancing the head and blades because of the flexible frames.
