The plastic blade grips were redesigned for the 600N and are perfectly safe at higher head speeds. Like what was mentioned earlier, JK is running 2100 with the plastic blade grips, and was flying the heck out of his 600N at Snohomish. I had never seen anything like it.
Be sure to not use the older 600e blade grips by accident. With those, 1900 is surely a good limit.
