Safety - RC Helis are not toys > Damage a 450 T-Rex can do !!!

Well, this picture was taken after a 450 T-Rex with, yes, woddies
crashed into a parked Rappy 90 on the ground.
Note: the T-Rex woddies sliced right through the carbon blades as if it was paper.

Be careful with these 'toys'.

How did the Trex450 crsh in the pits? Is there more to the story that lead up to the crash that we should know about?

Either way...these so called Toys are not toys to the people that know about them!.

Sure enough **** happend and the T-Rex crashed between two persons
into the Raptor. Luckily none got hurt.

This may happen to everyone, so please be careful, these are definitely not toys.

Cheers

Kay

Yup, $%** happens alright. That particular 450 nearly clipped me (and KCT) before slicing into the 90 size carbon blades on the grounded heli. The damage caused by the "stock woodies" from such a small helicopter was definitely a sobering sight for all who observed it.

I fly a 450 myself (with carbons) and just a few minutes before the above photos were taken, I had my first crash whereby I ended up cutting (cleanly) some pretty thick cornstalks while duffing inverted. We brought the cornstalks into the pits from the field and there were a few "oohs" and "ahhs" over the exceptionally clean cuts (Radix blades!). That`s when the second 450 crash into the pits occurred.

I`d say the consensus at that particular field is that a 450 (even with woodies) could make a real mess of a person in the event of a crash. Perhaps more of a mess than one might think.
