9252 is working great for me on the throttle. Are you having a problem with it?

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I have one of my three 600Ns with 9252s on the throttle that keeps eating servos. The other two 600Ns have GV-1s. I cant seem to figure out if its the 5.8 volts(dont think it is) or the CSM gov,or the vertical linkage transferring vibes from the engine to the servo. Dont mean to Hijack this thread, but if you have any Ideas let me know.

JK uses a Futaba S3155 Servos for throttle, what are your thoughts on this, saves weight and is a very fast servo he claims....

I was considering the Hitec 65, it just seemed that it may be effected by vibration. Would like to to see some pics of the install if you have any. Jim

I've experienced no problems with vibration thus far. I'll try to get a picture or two taken tomorrow so you can check it out.

I happened to have this laying around and the speed isn't too bad at .11 seconds. We all know torque isn't too important for throttle duty but even that's only 5oz. down from the 3155. I'd rather have the speed advantage for throttle. I was mainly after weight reduction and either servo would accomplish that goal over a standard servo.
