Hi there,

How many of you UK users have a Hurricane 50 and if so how do you like the machine?

The heli looks interesting but I have only seen it at shows and in the odd shop, it looks promising and very good quality, but a bit of feedback from the users would be good.

Hi

Did you see them at the masters?

i have just recently got a hurrican after flying a raptor, there is alot of difference. It feels light and sharp in the air and good control athority as it has push pull eccpm (it can be set up mpm)
Its an all round good machine for advance 3d or learning.

The other good thing is it practically comes fully upgraded out of the box all metal head etc and spares are relativly cheap.

I have a vid in my gallery of me flying (naf weather but im keen lol)

Now thats what I call a flight !!

Good flying even in crap weather.
Yes I did see them at the masters, but I wondered if they were as good as they were talking them up. The heli seemed a good build and well engineered but then I haven't seen too many out and about. Mostly people are flying raptors.
I wondered if there was a secret fan base out there and people were just keeping quiet about them.

Thanks

I realize I'm not in the UK, but I have been flying for RjXofUSA since last October. The Hurrican is a very stable heli, the stacked G-10 or carbon frames make it a solid machine from beginner to 3D.

As you are in Manchester, why not come along to my club - Bury Metro -and have a go at mine. I was a confirmed Raptor lover, with emphasis on the was!! Proof is in the flying so come and have a go. All I say is if you bend it, you mend it

You will have to wait a couple of weeks though, as I am off to Corfu tomorrow

Hi All

I think the Hurrican is a superb piece of kit only been flying a few months and everyone said a raptor was the thing to buy. I have flown both and find the Hurrican far more stable and easy to get on with.

Parts are also priced well.

I have owend everything from a nexus to a hughes 500 turbine. Now the hughes was just speechless. But I will stand behind certain others when they say you will think its a 90.

I flew mine against a 600N and they flew just about the same. But the Hurrican was not only faster in responce but even more stable. I liked mine so much that I even got rid of my 90's. Not just because I liked the hurrican but it simply cheaper to run a 90 thats packed in a 50 size frame.

I've said it before and will say it again. The Hurrican and extreme will put the raptor craze to a hault.

RJX Are doing it in the UK!

[B]The RJX brand is certainly gathering momentum here in the UK as it quite rightly should. These are high end machines for those of us that like the finer things in life, top quality CNC parts, superb fit of components and unbelievable flight performance without the cost of other brands. I love both my Hurrican and my Xtreme although they are quite different machines.
The Hurrican is a great all-rounder that would impress any pilot whereas the Xtreme is a headbangers tool!!
I have also been lucky enough to have sveral flights on the Hurrican electric running Flightpower 10S and Hacker power equipment, now thats got some poke!!
Anyone needs to know anything about RJX, I will gladly help.

Enjoy!

I just finished building the Silver CF version and we showed it and did a noon demo at IRCHA last week in the USA, flew great, needs a bit more fuel thru the YS50, currently only has 7 tanks.

I'll weight it later today and let you know what the silver CF weighs.

We only have 3 kits in the US, black CF, and G-10 Rusty of RJXofUSA has and I have the only silver in the US, we currently have kits on order and they were well received at our tent at IRCHA.

Here's our setup

That was only a portion of his flight, and the engine only had 6 tanks thru it, it's flying much better now.
