so after 7 flights on the 600 nitro pro (btw, i love it), and after getting it all setup (thanks ticitytock (sp)), it flies so good, yes, i had a huge smile on my face.

setup:

os hyper 50
cool power 30%
13/13 pitch
vblades, vpaddles
hatori one piece new jason krause special sb-50 pipe****
model avionics throttle jockey rev max with 9254

the sucker lets just say had more power than i had expected. idle 2 = 2100ish RPM.

felt really really good and i like powerful setups. i have a funfly tomorrow, will take some HD footage so you guys can see.

just alittle update/contribution

Right on Jason.. I knew you would like it. I might come by tomorrow and check out your field. I would like to see you fly in person. What time are you going to be there??

I've never had more than 4 flights on any single day with my 600N.. I'm so used to electric that I tend to spread out my flying over the whole day still. Gotta get used to this nitro stuff ;]

Hi Jason,

I followed your threads... and I know you spent along time researching and deciding what components you were going to put into it.

What servos did you end up going with? Gyro/ servo? Why a Throttle Jockey? Why an OS vs. YS?

Thanks!

trex 600 nitro pro

futaba s9451 cyclic servos (3)
futaba gy611 with 9256 tail servo
futaba s9451 throttle servo
(i used the horn that looks like a cross for throttle, cyclic. i used the star looking horn for the tail servo, and i am on the furthest hole on the cyclic arms)

fromeco arizona helicopter regulator no pin flag
model avionics throttle jockey rev max
thunder power 2s2p 4200mah pack. balances the helicpoter perfectly for me and i get 10-15 flights no questions asked before flying.

vblades 600mm
vpaddles 80mm
stock tail blades (black align ones)

os hyper 50
hatori jason kraust special one piece sb-50 pipe
cool power 30%
5 runs at 2 turns out and leaning progressively each flight
6 flight went out at it, not sure the backplate or where im at turn wise on the hyper engine.

13.5/13.5 pitch on the head
2100RPM set in idle 2 (where i fly)
1950RPM set in idle 1
1800RPM in normal

(thanks matt for helping me fine tune this setup)

more will come, im going to get some new stuff shortly as i had a minor incident with mine.

going to try:

new futaba horns by align (circular ones)
new metal fan (not sure who yet)
new metal mainshaft bearing blocks

Jason there is only 1 3Dx Fan, there are 2 GForce fans. I would go with the 3Dx Fan myself...get it from Ricks.
